Congratulations to CHOC (Children’s Hospital of Orange County) on their successful CHOC Tower Dedication Street Festival! The event took place on February 1st, 2013 with tours of the South Tower from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm, then the dedication ceremony followed by the community festival and celebration from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
We were very honored to be able to contribute by providing code analysis, egress planning and accessible entrance studies. Whether it is a structure that stands for hundreds of years or only for an afternoon for an event such as this, addressing proper codes, exiting, and other life safety concerns is always a priority.
Baby Lauren, the newest member of our GM+A family, enjoyed the festival and the tour of the new hospital, which is a wonderful collaboration between CHOC & Disney.
