Project Description:

Originally designed by an experienced out-of-state healthcare architect, Arlington Gardens Care Center sat stagnant mid-way thru construction and their team struggled to move the project forward.  After 2 years, GM+A was brought on by the Owner for our extensive OSHPD experience and industry know-how…. simply put, knowing how to get things done in the California healthcare environment. Major redesign including converting patient wings for Sub-acute with central oxygen and central suction, a  building systems design over haul ensued to accommodate both the wishes of the Owner and the governing jurisdiction. Through intimate teamwork with all players involved and a tireless effort put forth, a successful project emerged at the end, proven by the happy faces of the residents.
