Project Description

The new Las Encinas Hospital is nestled in the Pasadena campus providing behavioral health care services specializing in the treatment of psychiatric and chemical dependency issues.  The hospital shall provide a variety of inpatient and outpatient treatment programs including inpatient detox, inpatient psychiatric stabilization, chemical dependency rehab, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services.

The parking structure, completed in 2016, implements the following Sustainable Design measures, including use of bio swales for onsite storm drainage, onsite renewable green energy via solar panels, green screens, water efficient landscaping using on-site water well for irrigation, connection to nature by providing place of respite on the accessible Green deck; and provides low-emission and fuel-efficient charging stations.

The hospital is currently in construction and will soon provide additional beds needed in the community.
