Southland Care Center Physical Therapy

GM+A led the physical therapy remodeling project at the Southland Care Center. The project's main goal was to unify what used to be 4 separate rooms into one large, free-flowing rehabilitation center. Through the addition of a control door and the opening of the hallway that previously divided the 4 different rooms, our team was able to capture formerly wasted circulation space to be utilized as part of the therapy suite. In addition, the re-envisioning of underutilized spaces and transforming them into inviting and highly functional spaces was expanded through the consideration of the existing courtyard adjacent to the therapy areas. The inclusion of a newly renovated therapy courtyard nearly doubled the facility's therapy space.
