GM+A designed a Memory Care Dementia Design prototype to address privacy issues faced by residents of such facilities. The design included three semi-private rooms that form a "household" equipped with shared living and dining spaces, a kitchen, and a bathing facility. In addition, these "households" open into shared community room which gives the residents both an engaging place to interact and a quiet space to attain some peace and serenity.
