GM+A led the renovation of the Hancock Park Rehabilitation Center, taking advantage of the views from the top of the tower to give residents a welcoming open space that is often lacked in urban senior living facilities. Cutouts were strategically placed in the new screen walls to frame the Los Angeles skyline while offering protection from the wind and concealing unsightly rooftop equipment. Furthermore, the addition of canopies and lounge chairs provided the residents with a place to gather, interact, and comfortably enjoy the views.
