Onney Wongmelert, Associate/Architect, is a California registered Architect who has over 10 years of experience specifically as a healthcare architect. She has completed many complex projects, both small and large in scale. Her background includes multiple healthcare and entertainment architecture projects such as: skilled nursing, assisted living, acute care, mixed-use, and theme park attraction experiences.

Onney has a long standing history with Gregg Maedo + Associates and many of our clients. After several years with our firm in the beginning of her career, she ventured to Disneyland Resort. There she worked as a member of the Disney Architectural & Facilities Engineering Department. She tackled projects that expanded her knowledge in innovative design solutions, including several favorite attractions and adventures at the “happiest place on earth.”

With the desire to constantly grow and challenge herself, she went on to cultivate her experience with other various firms. Her most recent affiliation before rejoining our team was HKS’s Healthcare Team as an Associate. While there, she focused primarily on projects for Kaiser Healthcare and Cedar Sinai Hospitals. Her skills in architecture reached a new level from her ventures in different styles and design approaches in entertainment and healthcare architecture.

We are very fortunate that Onney has rejoined our GM+A family.  She brings with her a multitude of experiences and healthcare / acute care expertise. Her background as a healthcare architect combined with her creativity gives Onney a unique perspective.  From the warm welcome she has received from our clients, it looks like we are not the only ones who are all smiles about her return!
